Modern Tranquility in Hod HaSharon: The Refined Dialogue Between Bluestone and Evergreen Greenery.
Set on a 350-square-meter plot in the heart of Hod HaSharon, this project was designed for a family with adult children who aspired to transform the home’s outdoor areas into an elegant, functional, and richly landscaped hosting environment. The guiding design principle was to create a strong, nature driven presence- without the use of traditional lawns- while maintaining a clean, modern, and restrained architectural language.

Natural Bluestone was selected as the project’s primary and defining material, setting the overall design tone. The stone accompanies the exterior spaces in their entirety, from expansive entertainment terraces to precisely articulated access paths, lending the environment a sense of continuity, stability, and timeless luxury.
The entrance to the home is accentuated by floating Bluestone steps, introducing a sense of architectural lightness and refined sophistication from the very first encounter, and serving as a striking design statement.

The landscape architecture emphasizes visual richness achieved through layered textures and tonal variation rather than conventional grass lawns. A carefully curated selection of resilient, evergreen plants ensures a lush, vibrant appearance throughout the year while requiring minimal maintenance.
The interplay between broad and slender foliage, and between deep and lighter shades of green, creates depth, movement, and ongoing visual interest across the garden. The planting serves as a living, breathing backdrop to the paved hosting areas, enabling seamless, comfortable, and inviting outdoor entertaining – where everyday practicality meets meticulous aesthetics.

The result is a contemporary, serene, and elegant garden that harmoniously blends refined materiality with cultivated nature, redefining the experience of outdoor living and hosting in a modern private residence.
