Caesarea: The Meeting Point Between Modern Architecture and a Wild Nature Reserve
Location: Caesarea
Property Type: Private house
Plot Size: 750 sqm
Interior Design: Israel Noots
Photography: Shay Epstein
On a 750 sqm plot in Caesarea, we planned a project with an emphasis on maximizing the site and blurring the boundaries between the home and the surrounding nature, with the aim of creating a living experience connected to the unique environment of the plot, which borders an open nature reserve.
The planning, carried out in collaboration with architect Israel Noots, was based on creating a precise balance between intimacy and privacy on the one hand, and openness and visual freedom on the other.
Along the sides of the plot, we planted lush vegetation that creates a green buffer and complete separation from neighboring properties, while at the rear of the garden an entirely open façade was preserved toward the nature reserve.
The choice of resilient, native vegetation allowed for natural integration with the existing landscape and creates a feeling that the garden is a direct continuation of the surrounding nature.
