Talmei Menashe Project | 500 sqm of Curated Nature

Location: Talmei Menashe
Plot Size: 500 sqm
Architecture & Interior Design: Shimon Weizman & Avi Siluk – Studio W S

In the heart of the picturesque moshav Talmei Menashe, on a 500-square-meter plot, we created a living space for a young family where the boundary between interior and exterior is delicately blurred. The guiding principle was clear: to integrate as much greenery as possible. To realize this vision, we chose to minimize paved surfaces in favor of open, breathable spaces. The exit from the living room leads to an intimate patio, which gives way to an outdoor dining area immersed within the garden. An inviting pathway connects the residents to a “Cabana-style” seating area, encouraging shared moments of togetherness amidst the lush growth.

The vegetation serves as a complete envelope for the home. The perimeter of the plot features robust, protective planting, while in the center of the garden, we selected soft, herbaceous plants that evoke a sense of tranquility and movement. Shade trees were carefully chosen and positioned in the center to create a pleasant micro-climate, providing everyone in the garden with natural, soothing shade throughout the day.
